Hi there,
I love my wine and have at least one glass a night. I know that it impeding my weightless efforts. More fat loss actually.
When I log it in my diary it says 0 sugars. I thought wine had lots of sugar. Can anyone explain what the deal is?
Thanks.

The database is user-generated and the entries are often incorrect.0

the bar code scanner is great for wine i think. instead of the generic database for 'red wine' you can know exactly.0

Dry wine will have zero residual sugar -- the sugar turns into alcohol. Sweeter wines will have residual sugar and often lower alcohol contents, although that depends on the type of grape -- some grapes have more sugar or become riper (growing condition matters too) and will make more alcoholic and sweeter tasting wines. This is related to why even technically dry wines from certain growing areas and grapes will be super fruity and often ridiculously high in alcohol (California zins and Australian shiraz are often in this category).
Anyway, calories are going to matter regardless of sugar content.2
