    I used to have a late snack at work just before I left for home so I was not ravenous when I got home. It worked for a while.

    Also, try cooking your meals on the weekends so that when you get home from work your food is already ready to be heated up --- you easily stick to eating the food you planned for yourself.

    How much water are you drinking when you get home? Sometimes I am just thirsty and not hungry. So I tell myself I have to drink a set amount of water and wait. Then if I'm hungry I eat.

    I start making dinner when I get home at 5, because when I was growing up that was when we had dinner. I don't snack then because I know dinner is on the way. After dinner I put in my calories for the day and my exercise and decide if there's room for a snack or not. If there's not, I make sure to pull out my crochet or my word processor until bedtime so I don't snack.
