Hi out there, I broke my leg and now have just had a total hip replacement. Have gained almost 2 stones in weight. So unable to exercise I need advice and encouragement.

Try not to let it get you down. I had a similar problem, and put on three stones. I'm now following a 1600 cal a day eating plan and stayed as active as I can. i'm able to ride a bike and walk but it took time.

if you are still recovering from the fracture and surgery i'd suggest to focus on getting back on track and then getting on a scale.
