I use a FitBit One.
Pros -
Discreet, clips to my bra
Doesn't count arm movements or driving as steps (like wrist models often do)
Counts stairs
Tracks sleep - not a big deal to me, but some like it
Cons -
No HRM, but that's only (fairly) good for steady state cardio anyway
An alarm to remind me I've been sitting too long would be nice.
A screen would be nice to see now & again
Small - have washed it! But it came out okay (this time).
Here's a link to the FitBit groups......lots of different models

I have a Fitbit One, as well. I've had it since Christmas 2012 and have managed not to wash it yet. The dog chewed on it once and I've worn it in the rain and it's survived those incidents. I keep mine clipped to the middle of my bra and no one sees it there. There have been several studies done on fitness trackers and the One has been in the top 2 of every one I've seen. It's very accurate. One of the biggest features for me when I first got it was the sleep tracking. I still use it every night. I also like the alarm feature. I used to need to take a pill 4 times per day and would constantly forget the Noon and 5pm pills. I set the alarm on my One to go off at those times and it silently reminded me every day. It will also wake me up in the morning if I want to set it for then.
I have a separate GPS watch with a heart rate monitor I use for running but I do wear my Fitbit during runs, as well.0 -
Using a FitBit Blaze. The only problems I have with it, is that it likes to slide on my arm when I sweat, unless I cinch it down to the point where it's cutting off circulation. This wouldn't be an issue, if not for the fact that it doesn't like to read my HR unless it's at least two inches above my wristbone.
Well, that and the damned thing keeps encouraging me to move, making my caloric surplus more expensive. :-o1 -

@SueInAz does your GPS watch give you more or less calories than your ONE?
OP i have the fitbit Alta, i recently upgraded from the zip.
I think it overestimates my calorie burn, but it has definitely motivated me to go from incredibly sedentary to active. It buzzes me every hour if i haven't done at least 250 steps, tracks my crappy sleep, it syncs effortlessly with MFP and saves me adding in my exercise, it's set and forget.0 -
I went from the Fitbit One, to the Garmin Vivofit2. I prefer the Garmin simply because being a waterproof wristband, it records my kayaking or swimming as "steps" and can be with me 24/7. I wear it in the shower. About the only time it doesn't record activity, is grocery shopping, while I'm pushing a cart. It syncs nicely with MFP; records how well I sleep; is also a wristwatch; and the version 2 has a backlight to read the numbers in the dark and the wristband locks down more securely.
I should add that it gives the "Red Bar Of Shame" for inactivity; and chirps (quietly - I may or may not hear it) to remind me I've been sitting too long. I'd really like one that gives me an electric shock instead....LOL!... but so far, I haven't found one like that :-)0 -
i have the garmin vivosmart hr+
i like it. it has smart notifications, music control, weather, calories, gps, hr, waterproof up to 50m. i like the world of garmin overall better than fitbit(seems limited).1 -

More. I almost always have a negative calorie deduction from my Fitbit in MFP immediately after a run.0 -
I use JEFIT for lifting. It allows me to make custom workouts, and tracks weight lifter per exercise, and total workout weight lifted to easily compare with other workouts. It also calculates "wasted time," allows for custom rest periods between sets, and a bunch of other cool features.1

I have the polar rcx3 gps for when I am on my bike gives calories burnt and the fat % calories as well hooks up to my laptop and downloads the data so I know when I am training too hard and need recovery training.0

I have the Bellabeat Leaf.
PROs
-designed for women, and tracks my period, which I like, cause it is always sneaking up on me and just before my period is my prime binge period, so I can be prepared.
-It is very attractive looking, not a plastic athletic looking band
-you can wear it a few ways, so depending on your outfit, it is versatile.
-seems accurate, from what I can tell
-CHEAP! $90
CONs
-No HRM
-Doesn't sink to MFP or any other app, although that is apparently being worked into an app update sometime in the future.
All in all, I love it so much and don't regret my purchase2 -
Garmin Vivofit. It's comfy and the battery lasts a full year.0

Hi! I am new here. I want to get a Fitbit. Now, I want to know, does Fitbit calculate the TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure)? If so, which one? Thanks in advance!0
