Back Again

I was here once many years ago.....back again. I've gotten older and, of course, it's harder to lose. My cholesterol has gone up and that's why I'm back. I DO NOT want to go on meds. So I'm hoping to check this community for inspiration and good recipes.

  • Welcome back! I have a similar experience. I used this app on and off for couples years now. I am back because I was recently told I am slightly anemic so I have to track my iron and other nutrients/vitamins.
    One thing I've started doing recently is drinking green smoothies. Sounds off putting, BUT its actually not that bad. I make mine with pineapple, orange or mango and kale with 2 tsp of spirulina. It tastes good. It's packed with vitamins and minerals and spirulina is actually shown to reduce cholesterol levels. Look into chia seeds too.
