French toast
I thought I would enlighten anyone who would be as clueless as me when making french toast. If trying to cut out some calories don't use a 50/50 split of egg and water. The water makes the bread soggy so when it cooks the egg cooks on the outside but the bread stays soggy on the inside. Now you know.

I've never heard of someone using water. I always use a splash of milk and an egg, maybe a bit of vanilla extract if I'm feeling saucy.0

Water? Yikes.
A couple weekends ago I made french toast (lots of cinnamon) topped with bananas, drizzled with syrup, and a dollop of homemade whipped cream.
It's been too long.0
