Here we go... HELP!!

Hi everyone... Since I started my "weight loss" journey, I've thought I could do this all on my own and here I am, at least 30 lbs heavier, and so physically and emotionally uncomfortable, I can't stand it anymore. So time to switch it up and reach out for help. I am so disciplined in so many ways...except losing this weight. I need some accountability to something other than my scale that I avoid like the plague. So let's do this together!

    hgrace78, hang in there. I, too, am disciplined in almost every other area. Yet saying no to a potato chip or a martini was impossible. Now, although not weighing much less than when I started, I feel so much better. Just thinking about having certain foods (or drinks) makes me sick. I love drinking water (about 12 glasses a day). Make sure you do this for YOU and nobody else. When you're close to cheating, stop and talk to yourself. Who is stronger? You or the food? YOU ARE!! One day, one hour, one minute at a time. And be proud of your accomplishments, no matter how insignificant they may seem.
