Mini goal rewards

How to you reward yourself when you've reached a mini goal?
I want to set mini goals of 5kgs each and reward myself with something small each time I reach the goal, but I'd like some inspiration.
So how do you treat yourself when you reach one of your smaller goals?

I'm in maintenance, but I used to just be happy for achieving my goal(s) when I lost weight. I don't think eating right and moving a little more is something that "deserves" rewarding; adjusting to normal habits is just, well, getting in more normal behavior. In fact, I think it may backfire, because it (subconsciously) implies that what you have stopped doing, was (more) enjoyable, and that you "need" comforting/compensation for "giving up" what you really would have preferred to continue doing.0

I hear ya on wanting a reward. My first reward was $10 to spend on an "emotion, health and fitness" journal. That has helped because I can go back and read what was hard four months ago and realize it's now easy.
I also had rewards of books, a pedicure, a new set of weights, etc. My final reward for when I start maintenance will be a massage. However, I'm noticing my biggest rewards are feeling better and having clothes fit. I haven't rewarded myself in the past 2 months but I do still go back to that journal.
Good luck on your journey!0 -
Haven't reached any of my mini-goals yet but have set up some treats for myself - they get gradually more expensive culminating in a weekend away when I reach my goal weight, (the idea being by then I should be happy to take my top off at the beach!). Must admit, I'm stupidly excited about having a proper curry with all the sides - probably 3 weeks away from that!

I like having rewards. I bought DVDs, gave myself time to start reading a new series (I was going to buy but got a library kindle for free, so I just changed my reward to setting aside some time to read).
Future rewards will help with my lifestyle changes: phone holder for bike, new workout music or audiobooks, new clothes.
I also have lottery tickets on my list, since I never buy them.1 -
What will you reward yourself with when you're trying to maintain?
IMO being a healthy weight should be reward enough.0
