3yrs ago I weighed over 333lbs (1/3 of a ton). Over the first 2yrs I dedicated myself to not just losing weight but becoming a healthier, happier, stronger version of myself.

I had managed to lose over 180lbs (more than half my body weight) dropping down to 152lbs.

I then realized that this version of myself I had been chasing was no longer simply a lighter version of myself but was instead stronger than myself. I increased calories, started lifting more and now weigh around 180lbs at 13%bf.

Still chasing that healthier version of myself, now trying to get back down to around 9%bf. Who knows which way I'll be running after that.

Although notice that I was very careful not to say a "better" version of myself but rather a healthier, happy, stronger, version. Health and athleticism does not make one a better person, but it can make you a happier one, although you can be just as happy without it.
