Hello Fitness Pal community! My name is Cheryl. I am hoping that this website will assist me in my weight loss. My goal at this time is to lose a total of 75 pounds by next summer. Well that is the weight goal. I am actually more concerned with fitting into a size 9/10 pair of (non stretching) jeans. I think it is a reasonable goal however I would love to lose it sooner. I just didn't want to set an unrealistic goal that I wouldn't achieve then become discouraged. I have never typed on a message board for weight loss. I hear that it is a popular way of obtaining support. I hope this is true. Well, today I am starting my journey. Good luck to everyone else in achieving your goals!

    Welcome aboard! I too am just starting out and am just amazed on what I found here. I hope it works for both of us. By the way, getting into non-stretch pants is an awesome goal.

    Good luck Cheryl. My advice is not to focus on size - especially a Junior size (our bodies change to Missy in our mid 20's). focus on being healthier and fitter. I know you can do it!
