For the most part I'm having a hard time getting in all the calories the app suggest for the amount of exercise I'm doing. My question is if I don't get in all the calories will it be harder to lose or will I lose faster or be tired from all the time from exercising. Currently I work out 5 days a week doing 30min of cardio(jogging) usually 2.5 to 3 mi and 30min to an hr of strength training depending on what body part I'm doing that day. Side note I am just 2wks in.

You will lose faster if you have a higher deficit but the biggest concerns with not getting all the calories is that you may not be getting proper nutrition, that your exercising may suffer because you aren't fuelling enough and/or that you may lose more muscle mass by having too large a calorie deficit.

    BUT...

You have to balance that with the fact that sometimes exercise calories can be overestimated. And you also need to consider the other side of the equation - how accurately you are logging. Are you weighing your food, logging everything, etc.

30 minutes of cardio and weight training shouldn't be a huge amount of calories that would make it more difficult to eat those calories back.

What is your goal and how much are you eating?

You'll still lose, of course, but a higher deficit isn't necessarily a good idea and can do more harm to your body than good.
