Late night snacking is calling my name... I hear it. I'm 400 calories under my daily goal, but the fridge doesn't care, the salt water taffy doesn't care, the crackers in the pantry Do. Not. Care. Ugggghhh! #rude #temptation #help

If you are that far under your calorie goal, of course you still want to eat. You want to get close to your goal, not be that low on calories.

You can eat something nutrient-dense, a treat, or a combo of both.

Ummmmm why aren't you eating those 400 cals? You can eat what u want if it's weighed and recorded properly then fits? Don't torture yourself or deprive. Will just lead to binging.
I had 2 Tim tams after dinner because I wanted it and I could. Had glass of red last night cause it fit!
400 cals was the amount I had for breakfast. It's like a small meal.... EAT THEM

You have 400 calories you should be eating. You are making things unnecessarily harder by eating so far under your goal.
Have you met your protein or fats goal for the day? Have you eaten several servings of vegetables or fruits? If not then choose a food that helps you nutritionally and eat.

Most of my snacks are 300 calories or less. 400 calories is plenty for something like a sandwich, yogurt, banana with peanut butter, salad, hard boiled egg, etc.
