Staying on track

Hi! I'm 26 and losing weight for the second time. It is mostly baby weight that I gained from my last child. The first time I lost weight I did so threw 1200 cals on MFP and working out to a DVD similar to insanity. I tried to do it again and I just keep failing. I am now a stay at home mom , trying to lose the weight.. I have about I weigh 168.. Before my last child I was 130 and before my first child I was about 115-120. I want to say I'm not focusing on weight but in reality I am. Honestly I just want to feel good in my cloths and not feel like a stuffed sausage in my clothes.. Seems easier to buy new clothes than to lose weight.. But I'm not happy how my body is looking. I'm having a hard time staying on track. Still breast feeding but hardly.. I do have access to a gym, but get bored with the same old routine.. I make dinner for my family and in laws.. Can someone help me please ?

Dear Kristen,
You sound so low. I wonder if being the housewife and looking after baby is getting you down a bit? It's impossible to lose weight if you are feeling sad.
I'm sure you know that the easiest way to lose weight is healthy nutritious balanced meals and calorie counting (or portion control).
But the other side of the coin is getting out and about, having a laugh with friends and family, and learning new things.
What about taking baby out to something fun you can do together. A park meet-up? Swimming? Once you have a support network of people it'll be easier to tackle the flab.
Good luck.1
