Hello, this is my third massive weight loss journey. My first was when I was 19. I went from 298 to 195. I did this in a very unhealthy manner ( less that 1000 calories a day and purging any fattening food I ate). Slowly gained it all back, plus some. Ended up at 338 at age of 36. I started losing weigh and walking. Then started running, kick boxing, jiu jitsu, and weights. Started using My Fitness Pal and it was awesome. I got down to 208 and was in the best shape of my life. I was training for a half marathon when I started having strange health problems. BP was 220-230/160-180. Meds wouldn't help. Drs told me to stop all exercise except walking. I got depressed and started eating everything in sight. I got back up to 330. Finally, got to feeling better never pinpointed the cause. Slowly I have went from 330 to 280 without much effort. But want to be back where I once was (or at least close to it). My Fitness Pal was my most valuable tool last time so I am using it again. I am currently training for a 5k. But I still need to get my diet cleaned up. I hate vegetables lol. But logging my foods inspires me to generally make healthier choices.
