Am I doing it right? Calorie Increase?

For a year ive been eating 1200 calories intermittent fasting 18hr feeding 6hrs off. Im 6'2 240 i used to weigh 270 i lost 39 lbs then as i added more calories i gained 9lbs back. I got injured so i couldn't weightlift i been walking 10-15miles a week on average the whole time and i used to do uphill sprint hiit cardio 2 weekly now. My weight has stabilized at 240lbs i stopped losing weight on 1200 that's why i started increasing it.
Im up to 1900 calories, even when i eat 2500 calories i gain 1-2 lbs then it drops the next day. Should continue to raise my calories until the weight starts sticking higher then lower the calories by doing hiit cardio and weightlifting my wrist is ok now so i think i can manage my training again.
Im just wanting to know should i be eating more calories or should i stay at 18-1900 and start adding my workout back in.

If you weren't losing on 1200 calories (which as a male of your size you should not have been eating anyway), then you were eating more than you think.2

Eating more calories to lose weight is something of a myth. You can't burn stored energy (fat) when you're eating at a surplus. That said, 1200 calories is far too little for someone of your size, gender and activity level. You should stick to whatever calories has you losing weight and can support the extra energy requirements your increase in workouts brings.1

I don't inderstand how eating for 18 hours and not eating for six is intermittent fasting. Isn't that just called "sleep"? And yes, 1200 calories is not nearly enough for you.2

It was the otherway around i mustve said it wrong. I fasted18hr then ate for 6 hours.0 -

What you need to do is find a sustainable amount of calories to eat to lose a pound a week, then log everything as accurately as possible. This may include logging every bite of food that passes your mouth, weighing all foods on a food scale and measuring all liquids in cups, double checking that the entries you choose are accurate, utilizing the recipe builder over homemade/generic entries, and being mindful of the amount of exercise calories burned/eaten back.1 -
If you ate 1200 calories for a year you would have lost a lot more than 39 lbs. 1200 is not a goal you should have been reaching for, because it is too low for a male, but luckily you weren't actually eating that little.
What you DO need to do is weigh your food. Enter your stats into this app, ask it to lose a pound or two per week and log consistently. You have not been counting calories correctly.1
