My name is Danielle, I am 25 and active duty navy. It's tough for me because the ship doesn't serve the best food and I work all kinds of crazy hours so sometimes I don't get to go to the gym or eat. Is there any tips that y'all could give me? I am trying to get down to 128 lbs the healthy way.

Eat moderate amounts of the food that is available. I'm sure the military serves adequately healthy food.

I was in the a cook in the Marine Corps for about 10 year's. The policy for the Marine Corps, which applies to all armed forces, was we needed to serve a diverse amount of food for a well balance meal. I cooked on the USS Belleau Wood for about 3 months as the head cook for the night crew. We prepared lots salads and fruits for the day crew. We always had two choices of meats, some days the choice were health, and a starch. You don't have the best choices on ship but you got some. Its up to you to make the correct one. I forgot, stay away from the fast food line.
