I don't unless I go way over my usual daily average because it's factored in to my activity level.

nah, a couple hundred calories that i lose from walking/running, are just a nice little extra to help with my weight loss.

Unless, I purposely set out to go on a walk for exercise, then no I will not. But I use a fitbit, so I just let it count my steps and I don't worry about it. I won't eat back the calories from a walk, even if that was my exercise for the day. For some reason, it just doesn't seem right to me to eat those calories back.

Absolutely! I track it with my fitbit and if I didn't count my steps as exercise my Fitbit would be pretty useless lol. I have a 5 hour commute to and from school / work (total not each way lol!) so don't have much time to go to the gym or anything. And when I get home I'm exhausted. So since I take the train, I was from the train station to my work or school and back again. During lunch I also take a walk. Walking around campus also uses a lot of steps. So by the time I get home in the evening I have taken over 10 000 steps (usually closer to 15000). Then, in the evening I may go for a quick half hour run which is an additional 5 000. On weekends, I run about 10 k which is usually about 12 000 steps so I get around 15k on those days. I try to get over 110 000 steps per weeks. So as you see, most of my steps are from walking to/from work and during lunch hours because that's what I can fit into my day. I burn tons of calories so definitely consider it as exercise!
