Anyone into mountain biking?

What style trails do you ride? Where I live the isn't a ton of downhills or climbing. There is a decent amount of flowy trails with roots.

I'm mostly a roadie but every now and then I head out to the Methow or Teanaway and rent a MTB. I'd really like to do Angels Staircase this fall. It just melted out a couple weeks ago.
