How active am I considered ?

I'm leaving for college in a few weeks and I'm planning for my diet and exercise right now.
So here it is. Everyday I'm gonna take a 10 minute walk to the university for 2 or 4 times and climb up and down a total of about 9 sets of stairs. I do just a little more walking in the university and some basic everyday tasks. That's all I do and the rest of the day I'm sitting or sleeping. I'm gonna try to fit in some exercise, but for now that's it.
How active is that considered ? Should I choose sedentary when I want to calculate the calories I need?
Thanks in advance.

Sedentary. Add in any intentional exercise later.

Sounds like going to university might be your chance to get a bit more active. Walking is good, but 20mins is too little. Why not get yourself a step tracker and try to aim for 10,000 steps a day. (Cheap secondhand ones available all the time on eBay)
Activity doesn't have to be the gym. Uni is a great opportunity to try a new sport, or pass time (dancing, kayaking) Or consider volunteering and spend that energy on someone less fortunate than you. All these activities can be monitored on your tracker.
Physical activity will reduce appetite, help you learn and sleep well.
    Enjoy!

I chose sedentary and add any walking over 5000 steps. I always have my phone on me and it tracks my steps. When I'm at work I am on my feet, walking for 7hrs without my phone so chose 'lightly active'.
