I was thinking of training back twice a week, one day for thickness, the other for wideness. On the thick day, I would focus on rows and on the days focused on width, I could focus on inverted movement.

I do a mixture of both. I also train everything twice a week. Now is that workout designed for an average lifter or an enhanced lifter? Just by reading the title it makes me curious.0

Also known as vertical pull one day, horizontal pull the other. Probably how most plans should be. It's still a bit of a bodybuilding split but in general adding a 2nd day hitting each muscle group is good.
They called that an intermediate level routine, you could cut an exercise or reps for a beginner. But if you are a beginner you shouldn't really be on a body building split anyway.0 -
Pullups or lat pulldowns on Mondays
Single arm DB rows, Pendlay's or t-bar rows on Thur
Also have deadlifts on Tues so that's kind of another back lifting session0
