Anyone struggling with GLP-1 hunger issues?

Since my Victoza prescription is no longer covered by my insurance i have gained 30lbs. The generic glp-1's are not working well, they do not pack the punch victoza did. My Dr said I need to get used to this constant gnawing hungry feeling. It is so miserable to feel gnawing hunger while eating and after anything non-stop. But I need to find a way. Has anyone learned how to deal with insulin resistant metabolic syndrome without the needed meds? Specifically, how to stop the hunger without blowing the diet! Thank you.

When I feel hunger I have coffee or tea, black or with a small amount of milk. Sometimes I just have cold water with ice or herbal tea. For me this takes away the hungry feeling for half an hour or more. Then I have another one.0

You might consider trying to use Metamucil fiber or some other fiber based drink. This can really help with satiety.0
