Vitamins and smoothie additions (powder form)

Was wondering if anyone had input on supplements they are taking while counting calories etc. I've noticed iron and a few other minerals and micro nutrients are not getting reached. Also I love smoothies but produce goes bad quickly in our house for some reason. Is there a veggie powder someone recommends to add. Kale and such just goes south really quick and that's with me, my family and my pets eating off of a bunch. Thanks

I buy frozen fruits for smoothies, blueberries, strawberries, pineapple etc and freeze bananas as soon as their ripe. I just bought Bioglan Superfoods By Matt Dawson Green Boost Powder which has loads of nutrients I'm wanting to add to my diet, also Aduna Baobab Superfruit for energy. I haven't tried them yet, but will add these to my smoothies.0

I'm sort of obsessive about getting nutrients from food, but I do add protein powder (specifically Vega Protein and Greens which I tried on a whim and didn't like and then discovered tastes just fine in a good smoothie). I go through kale and chard and spinach fast, so no problem using them fresh. Lots of people add various seeds (flax, chia) or hemp hearts. I've experimented with that but not found that they are worth the extra calories, but many find they are more filling with more fat (and these are healthy sources, especially the ones that provide a good amount of omega-3).
If you are logging packaged stuff it's quite possible the entries aren't including everything (for example, potassium gets missed, but is in a ton of stuff). Best way to check is to try to use the USDA entries exclusively and, ideally, to log at Cronometer, which is really good for micros. I did that for a while until I was comfortable my diet was adequate.1
