SWEET!!!!

So after 2 months on keto, I decided to eat more moderate carbs, or rather, balance my macros more. (30c, 30p, 40f)
I ate some raisins this morning, and I swear they were INSANELY SWEET. Never thought I'd call raisins sweet. This comes from a woman who used to eat condensed milk from the can!

I've noticed things like that too. I tried reduced sugar and salt tomato ketchup thinking it wouldn't be as good the normal stuff, but I could still taste the sweetness. I have also cut down on salt and when I do eat something salty I can really taste it. I had an Options hot chocolate drink and could really taste the salt.1

I'm impressed. Didn't think I'd ever consider dried fruit too sweet.0

Try dates, it's almost like eating toffee!0

I'd imagine they are! This is good though. Perhaps I can now satisfy the occational sweet craving with fruit. And save the actual sweets for occasional treats (like they should be) instead of gorging down a whole container of cookies at once.
I've noticed I've also started drinking coffee less sweetened. I use to use enough sweetener equal to 6 teaspoons of sugar in a cup. Now I'm down to 2. Hoping I can keep this going.0
