Alcohol-Free Weekdays (a 5:2 plan!)

Hi folks,
I need to stop drinking wine (and indulging in other things...) during the week. It is having a serious impact on my weight loss and on my running and I'm training for my second half marathon and need all the help I can get. In the morning and all day, I am confident that I won't have a glass but too easily I fall into the trap of pouring a glass of wine after my kiddos get into bed. And more often than not, it leads to a second and that leads to snacking. And then I wake up with a headache and serious bloat (I have IBS and alcohol is a trigger for me). And repeat! I had 2 big glasses last night and I stepped on the scale and I've gained 4lbs overnight. It's awful.
Enough is enough. I'm all about realistic goals and for me, totally abstaining isn't realistic. I love wine
However, I want to limit it to Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday - essentially, a 5:2 plan!
I would love to have some buddies who can lend support, and vice versa, so please feel free to add me, or we can check progress in this thread (or a group?).
Thanks
