My cousin and I are looking to ride our bikes from Spokane to cda. It's 38.1 on centennial trail. So there and back is a goal for us. We did 6miles 35mins, so what I'm looking for is an ideal training schedule to get us ready for this!

Are you this in day or two? Camping overnight at the halfway point?

There are a number of different training programs out there. The biggest thing I can say is going out a few times a week and push out a little farther each time you go out. You rode 6, so push for 8, when you hit 8 push out a little farther. Maybe jump up to 10.... then a little further, then a little further

76.2 miles is very doable in a solid day of riding. At 10MPH you'll be done is roughly 7 hours and about 30 mins of riding.

I agree with CincyNeid; go out, ride a lot, slowly add mileage.

    Just ride.

    You're at 6 miles now ... you're building to approx. 40 miles.

This weekend, go for 8 miles.

    Next weekend, try 10 miles.

    The weekend after, 12 miles.

    Next ... 15 miles.

Just keep building up on your "long day" on the weekends.

Plus on a couple days during the week, take it easier and just go for a walk or something. On a couple days, do 5-10 mile rides depending on how you feel. And at least one day do hill repeats or intervals or something to get your speed and heart rate up a bit.

Just curious ... when do you plan to do this ride?
