I'm looking for other people who use Runtastic to track their fitness activities. Message/friend me if you're interested in motivating each other.

I'm not familiar with that one. Do you like it? I'm trying to decide if I should get mapmyrun to interface with this app.

I find the interface with other apps is pretty good. The only thing is I think they all translate the pace. So mine is always rounded down (a 9:41min mile becomes 9:00) which can throw the calories off a little in MFP. I know some people adjust the time until it fits with whatever app or they are using (especially people using heart monitors, as this is meant to be more accurate)

I've really liked Runtastic and it was just a one time payment to upgrade to their premium service, but it doesn't communicate with MFP. I know Under Armor makes an app called Map My Run, but to get all the features it's $30/year. Not unreasonable if it's good, but I'm not sure I want to give up on something that I know works. I also like having something that my MFP support group can see what I'm doing though.

By the way, thanks for responding. I guess this discussion didn't draw much interest. Do you run much?

I use runtastic (for runs) and mapmywalk (for walking) - although both round the pace in MFP this is only a description (as has to match it to some pre-existing activity in MFP) and it takes the calories and time across directly as recorded in the original app, so no need to adjust. Would be surprised if runkeeper doesn't do the same thing?

Anyway, I've only started running a couple of months ago, so a new runtastic user. Don't know how to add friends etc there yet as have not explored, but all feel free to add me. My profile is at https://www.runtastic.com/en/users/dzinja-kabambe-1/ - I assume you can work out how to add me from that! (NB: No activity for last couple of weeks as injured my ankle but feeling better now so hoping to get back out there in next day or two)

FYI - My Runtastic Pro app communicates fine with MFP. Although have paid for the Pro app, I have not paid for the premium service. Not sure if it's a UK thing but I don't get the option for a one-off payment - only an ongoing subscription model.
