TVP? (Textured vegetable protein)

just picked some of this up from whole foods. It's just defatted soy that is dehydrated. I've heard of people using it as a ground beef replacement. I just bought it but have absolutely no idea how to use it in recipes lol. And tips, suggestions, or recipes?(:

Actually pretty good taste. I have used it for chili, spaghetti sauce, sloppy joes, and tacos. It is much more reasonably priced than the frozen crumbles from Boca, Morningstar Farms, etc.0 -
You just hydrate and flavor like meat. If yiu want sloppyjoes add some sauce and sautae till hot, supwr easy and cooks quickly0
