Trying to get healthier thru weight loss and better food choices

Hey ya'll! Wendy here! 41 year old mother of two (teenager and preteen. Pray for me, lol) I recently decided that, with my Chief Bedwarmer out of town for extended periods of time (husband is a long haul truck driver), it was a PERFECT time to whip my self into shape. (And I am tired of said shape being a sphere!! Lol) I have joined a Gym, go on long walks when I am able to, and have started logging ALL my meals and snacks. I have cut out ALL SODA and ALL CANDY. I have greatly reduced my snacking, and have already lost weight! I have gone from 6 feet tall and 250 pounds to 21p pounds in just 7 weeks! Awesome!

The only problem is that I have hit a plateau with my weight loss, and am getting discouraged. I really need some Fitness Buds to help keep my spirits up and keep me on track. Add me, and I will follow you back. We can motivate each other!!!! Trade recipes! Share routines at the gym!

    Hey Wendy, I'm Angela... 31 yrs old w a 13 yr old son and a 3 month old daughter. I like how you mention for a prayer, ask and you shall receive;) So I'm new to mfp as well as watching what I eat w carbs n fats etc. I plan to lose the baby wieght as well as tone up but I have a abdominal wall hernia so I'm really limited to walking and healthier diet for the time being. I have guesstimated my wieght until I get to the store and buy a scale... kinda afraid to get on the scale haha! I think it's awesome you have dropped the lbs! I don't drinks Soda except maybe once to twice a month.. and I'm not into sweets all that much either. I'll probably have to stuck to just drinking water to see a difference... well I'd like to friend ya just new so not sure how lol
