So I'm sitting at a light on the way home from a hot miserable ride. It's at a busy intersection where bikes don't trigger a light change. I was about to get off the bike and slog across the right turn lane to hit the pedestrian button when an enormous pickup pulls up behind me. I kinda crept forward hoping I could get out of the way fast enough when the light changed since I've had some bad experiences with wide vehicles squeezing by rather than waiting a few seconds for me to get out of the way. Then the truck backs up, the driver gives me a smile and wave, and makes a right turn as the light turns green for me. Made. My. Day.
