I am surprising even myself this week.
I am feeling focused, in the zone and strong and this is a first for me! I usually try and talk myself out of my focus but something has clicked Big time in my head!
This is all been about a picture taken of me two weeks ago and I was shocked and stunned at how I saw myself.
I know all I have to do is eat less and move more and that's what I've been doing since last Thursday and I've lost 5lbs already.
I'm eating 1000 calories but I'm spreading it through the whole day and I'm honestly not feeling hungry and now that I'm seeing results I and do sticking to it.
I nearly fainted when I bought scales and weighed myself. ...16"5....How the hell did that happen.
Today Monday I'm 16"0...wow...I'm 5'7 and have a long way to go.
I'm on it 1000 calories a day and some walking & swimming..
Could I do 7lbs in a full week...woo hoo xx

excellent results, 7 lbs in a week - great motivator... careful u are not losing lean mass. Normally maximum is 2lbs fat loss and anything over that is muscle loss (normally).
i would expect that your weight loss tapers off at closer to 2lbs per week after the first few weeks, dont get demotivated if this happens its about normal for everyone

Yup, this is how it goes terribly terribly wrong.
You are not supposed to eat 1000 calories per day. You are not supposed to lose five pounds in a week. Anyway, it's not just fat, most of any initial weight loss is water.
You may not be hungry right now, but it will catch up on you. You are burning 2400-2500 calories per day. To lose weight, you need to eat less than that. How much did MFP tell you to eat? Why did you choose otherwise?0 -
Excellent progress, but do not spend much more time in that low calorie intake mode. If you can lose 5 lb in 2 weeks you can certainly continue losing weight at 1200 calories.0

Yay on being focused! Good for you, I know how hard it is to get your mind in that position. It's really exciting to see the weight just begin to fall off-it's a great motivator, and gives you the personal knowledge that YOU CAN DO THIS!!! Congratulations are making the decision to get going!
A couple of things to help you stay on the right track:
~Always eat a minimum of 1,200 calories a day (less than that is unhealthy/harmful to you).
~Drink TONS of water-keep your system hydrated and flushed, and help keep yourself full.
~The weight loss does slow down after you drop the initial water weight, but you will still keep loosing-if you follow your MFP plan. So don't get discouraged when things slow up a bit.
There's so much more, but too much at once get's overwhelming.
Best of luck!0
