Yesterday I did my usual 5-6 km, hour long run with my yellow Lab. Everything seemed to be going along nicely with good temperatures and a nice breeze blowing. I run with Runtastic keeping track of my GPS location and distance. I noticed my interval times were on the faster side of usual for me, but I wasn't working all that hard I thought. Anyway, Once I get back home i download the GPS track into the Endomondo website and look at my times for the run. Of my 6 personal bests to date, yesterday I beat 5 of them. I knocked off a whole 1:10 off my 5 km time and increased my 1 hour distance to over 6.5 km.

And to make everything even better, I went shopping to day and bought a couple more pares of shorts. In early June, I bought a couple pair at 46' waist and they were snug, but today I tried on and bought 2 more pair with a 44" waist and they are not all that snug. Woo Hoo!!. I see my Dr. Wednesday to weigh in, wonder how much I have lost? I think I will complain to him about the saggy skin on my arms. I bet he will see the irony in that.

Congratulations on beating 5 of your personal bests! I am not a runner, but I know that doing what you did took dedication to your program, so, Kudos!

P.S. if your doctor has any secrets about what to do about saggy arm skin, please enlighten the rest of us. Lol!

I'm not a runner either, at least I never was. Couldn't stand it in school and used to make fun of all the other runners I saw, So any time I beat any of my bests, I am really amazed that I am actually sort of running, if you can call the fast waddle I do a run. And as far ac calling it a program, well it just allows me to eat more and still lose weight and keeps my Yellow Lab from driving us crazy with her energy
