I am 5'3 and weigh about 215. I have done many diets/plans... You name it I have done it. I think my biggest struggle is being the only one in the house that is trying to lose weight. My husband supports me, but he is also my biggest enabler

I know that can be very hard. Having an enabler in the house is never easy. I personally found that the diet plans do not work. What works best for me anyway.... is to count calories and exercise. Eat what you want but count it in your calories and if you have too many treats in the day then do extra exercise to burn off the calories.2

You are so right. I haven't been working out much the last 2 weeks and I am going to make it my goal (one day at a time) to workout instead of taking naps when I get home from work!0

Ugh, my husband made homemade mac n cheese then ate a whole plate full while I had 1/2 cup and some chicken. He's a jerk. Lol that's the hardest part about this0

When I first started my weightloss, my husband was supportive, but still pigged out on all the yummy stuff that I had to cut back on. It was tough not to give in and pig out with him, but resisting temptation resulted in me gaining lots of self control with food. Also, after seeing how amazing I looked and noticing my major self confidence boost after some losing weight, my husband joined me in my efforts.
It's tough, but keep it up and maybe eventually your husband will support your efforts or even join you. We're both in maintenance now, but continue to support each other.1 -
Maybe you can slowly help your family eat healthy too. That's what I did my mom and brothers did this to me too. But slowly they started eating my way when they saw results I was getting.0
