Wedding bells

Im starting to get really anxious because Im just about 10 pounds from my goal weight and never in my 23 years have I focused on what it takes to actually maintain my weight. I was either always slowly gaining or for the last 2 years Ive been focusing on losing. My wedding is in October of 2017, so thats still a decent amount of time away and I want to make sure once I reach my goal that Im able to maintain it, especially for my big day. Ive heard maintaining can be even more difficult than losing so Im just nervous. Any helpful tips or advice from those who have maintained their weight purposely? (Im at 159, my goal is actually a little under 150 because I know from daily flucuations Ill never just always be consistently at 150)

If you have the will power to lose you have more than enough to maintain. Keep using your mfp amd you will be fine.

I lost 100 lbs, but gained it back. Maintenance is important. Teach yourself healthy habits. It may even be good to start maintenance now. So you can start getting use to it. I never really tired for maintenance, that was my huge mistake.

Apparently right now if I wanted to maintain I should be eating anywhere from 1800-2100 (i was looking at different sites) I barely go over 1400, so I know Ill need to take it slow adding calories otherwise Ill gain.

You have a year. I think you should maintain for a bit and then drop again, but be careful. The last 3 months are horribly stressful!
