a bit about me. I was very fit most of my life. I went through an increibly tough stretch from 2003-2008 and ballooned from 200 to 285. Over the next few years I started getting my crap together and got back around 240. Mainly from exercise. I still had terrible eating habits. Well long story short. I wrecked my knee, had some more life trouble got depressed and found myself near 300 pounds at 45 years old and in the hospital with chest pains.

Since then I got down to around 280 and was stuck. A co-worker suggested mfp and I started around 4 weeks ago. I am now down in the low 260s and want to keep momentum. I took a month off from work and that has helped, but I go back next week.

What I really want is some people trying to do what i am and help me stay motivated. The holiday season undid all my progress last year and I don't want that to happen again
