Am I eating enough?

I have used mfp before and lost 3 stone as a result of hard work and lots of exercise. Unfortunately life got in the way and over the last year I have put almost all of it back on. I am back on it and have set my goals to lose 1lb a week and set my profile to sedentary. The first week I lost 6.6lb and the second week I lost 1.6lb. I've just got on the scales and I've lost nothing this week so far (my weigh in day is Sunday). My partner is doing this too and seems to be losing weight at a much faster rate without the spinning, running and swimming that I am doing.
So I know I've had a good loss so far and as an intelligent woman I know deep down to keep at it and all will come good, but I guess I'm just looking for some reassurance that I'm eating enough and on the right track.
I'm 5'4", current weight 195lb and mfp has given me 1730 calories each day. I don't eat all my exercise calories back and use a Fitbit. I think my diary is open. Any advice or reassurance would be appreciated!
Thanks

You said your partner is loosing at a rate faster than you, but remember your rate is only 1 pound a week. Should not be loosing any faster than that. The first week is almost all water weight and the second weeks loss is 1.6 pounds so you are loosing correctly.

Its only been two weeks so some patience is needed on your end. And remember one person is not gonna lose weight like another and its not linear. There is gonna be weeks in the future that you may not lose anything. As you loose the smaller you will get in body size so adjusting the calories as you lose weight is needed.

edited to say: you are eating enough, except some of your calories are lower on some days than other days. I might would try to stay consistent with your 1730 every day. Your body has to make adjustments to what you are doing to it. Stay consistent. Not eating enough to loose at the rate you want only compounds what happens on the scale, i.e. water weight.

It seems like your partner is losing weight too quickly, and that makes you think you should be too. Just stick to what your doing, and you will be fine. You might have to give it a couple of weeks for your body to adjust.
