Presidental! I've listened to all of them up to James Garfield in order

America's Test Kitchen is my favorite cooking podcast.

Tales From the Spacepod is just nice to listen to.

Unsolved Murders and Opensource are new podcasts that show a lot of potential. I need to listen to more of both

I just got into Science VS. It explains the research behind various controversies and fads. It's really good so far, but I've only listened to two episodes.

I've been looking for more podcasts, so thanks for starting this thread! There are a lot of great suggestions.

I got an advertisement for that on Surprisingly Awesome, been meaning to download an episode.

I was looking for one recommended on a thread I made recently for food podcasts, and one called WW1 Digger stories was suggested, sounds like it could be good. I'm going to download the first episode right now.

    Selected Shorts
    The Writer's Almanac
    Remarkable Lives Tragic Deaths
    History on Fire
    Unsolved Murders

And I used to truly love A Prairie Home Companion. They still release something each week, but they are replays as Garrison Keillor retired in July 2016.

I'm resurrecting this because I think I might start posting links to episodes I've recently enjoyed. It can be daunting to new podcast listeners to know where to start.

Anyway, one I enjoyed yesterday was from the podcast, The Allusionist, and it was about small talk.

"Small talk is usually not conveying much vital information, nor is it especially interesting. But beneath that comfort blanket of tedium lies a valuable social function."
