I'm double dipping on my MFP exercise tracker

Hi all,
I wear my phone while I'm doing cardio, which tracks my steps-- which I like. But I also input the fact that I did 60 min of cardio in the mornings so I can track everything. This makes my available calories jump up quite a bit. Is there a way not to double dip?

Not sure how to do it with the Iphone but for fitbit if you put in the time, it will reverse out the steps you took during your logged 60 minutes.0
