Any night owls?

I was wondering if there are any others out there who work out late at night or midnight hours? I am new to this weight loss journey, and for the last 2 weeks I've been going to the gym from 1-3am for an hour of cardio, followed by swimming for an hour. Does anybody have any experience or thoughts about exercising at night?

i think it makes no diffrence i work 9 in the evening to 7 in the morning and i usually do most of my training at work by doing a bodyweight exercise rutine and so far i have managed to lose 4 kg in 3 weeks. i usually do my rutine around the same time you go to the gym. I think the important thing is that your bodys clock is set so that you are used to be up at night and dont go training when your body is tired and demands sleep.

exercise when you can, doesn't matter the time of day. I personally have to exercise first thing in the morning before work. I can't exercise in the evening or I will be up the entire night and not get any sleep.

I am going with the doing 'something' is better than doing nothing attitude. I am loving the exercise, and already see an improvement in what I can do just 2 weeks in. I also like having the gym and pool to myself.

I am also at the gym between 10 pm and midnight. I enjoy the quiet space.

Better focused and by the time you get home you are completely knackered for bed
