I tend to stress eat. I have read some articles and try to follow those tips, ( ask myself why am I eating this, then if I'm hungry I eat, if I'm stressed try something else ) but I still find the temptation when I'm stressed. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Eat enough. Eat food you like. Get enough sleep. De-stress. Meditate. Exercise. Remove the temptation, or remove yourself from the temptation.2

I do the same sometimes. But I'm also a compulsive snacker. Get rid of the bad foods in the house and load up on fruits, and veggies. Put the veggies in individual baggies. When you're stressed, grab those and stress-chow down! One big thing that helped me was,if I felt hungry after dinner, I'd ask myself if I could eat my dinner all over again. I never felt I could, so it was just my old snacking habits. Good luck3

Exercise is good for relieving stress and burning off some of those calories. And if you want, you can ask yourself all those questions while you're exercising.0
