I'm 25 days into eating better and walking everyday, I've done pretty good so far. My little but of nervousness here situation; my niece and nephews birthday party is today. My family throws cookouts for summer birthday parties, I guess I'm a little nervous about eating to much and how much is ok to eat? Any advice would be helpful.

Eat the number of calories you normally eat, or have a day at maintenance, it's up to you. You don't have to eat loads more than usual just because it's a kids party.
That being said, if it's outside, run around, play with the kids, eat some cake and enjoy yourself. One party isn't worth worrying about in the grand scheme of things!2 -
eat food and be happy
one day does not make or break weight loss2 -
I agree on letting go of being nervous over a party.. This is gonna happen and its called life. So if this is your first event since you started weight loss you can use this experience for how you deal with your feelings towards it and moreover how you well you do, but relax, it is just a party, a meal and some cake with family and friends. Not gonna kill your waistline on one day!0

It's your weight loss. Whatever you decide and stick to, it's perfectly ok.0

It is one day. Look at your whole week. You can eat at maintenance. You can go over maintenance calories for one day and be fine. Get back to normal the next day.
Eat lighter at your other meals. Eat reasonable portions of food. Don't go crazy drinking a ton of sugary drinks or alcohol. Be active.0 -
How much is ok to eat? Pretty sure there's no rules. Just enjoy yourself...eat reasonably...it's one day...it's pretty irrelevant to the bigger picture.0
