Vegetarian diets

Looking for some advice....I am a vegetarian and have been for over 20yrs but now am aware that I need to look more closely at my diet. I eat no meat, chicken or fish. I have been tring to lose weight and become more fit.....I am currently on week 6 of the C25K program and do 2/3 Zumba classes week. While I am seeing a difference in my fitness levels I just can't seem to drop the weight...starting in Feb at 210lbs but now stuck around 198lbs. I have no idea of what I should be eating to get the best results. Have read lots about the TDEE method but can't work out what my limits should be. I recently spoke to someone at Zumba about it and she spoke about eating more good fats and upping my protein.....but don't have a clue what to do. Have spent years thinking eat less lose weight so really struggling on how to change my mindset! Help!!!!

Hi, you sound just exactly.like I did at the beginning of last year! I cycled everywhere, I ate healthy choices in my vegetarian diet and did zumba, bkxing and sometimes running every week and I was not losing any weight! I tried to eat less and would get abojt 1 or 2 weeks then have a cheat weekend or a packet of biscuits or something and think it was okay. It wasn't.
You HAVE to count your calories.
Do you need help finding your calorie allowance? What is your gender, age, height, weight and level of activity?
