Going on holiday... Should I change my eating habits?

I'm going on 2 'city break' holidays, one in a fortnight and one in six weeks.
I am buying some food from the supermarket at home before I go on holiday, so I can put it all in my suitcase and keep it in my hotel room so I know exactly what I'm eating in case foreign supermarket foods don't have all the nutritional info I'm wanting.
I don't feel like I need to lose much more weight in general, so I'm in a bit of a predicament.
I'm currently on a limit of 1420cals a day (to lose 1lb a week), before exercise etc.
Whilst I'm on holiday, I'll be using, trams, buses, and the subway/underground system to mostly get around and then just walking around the city centre at a general, leisurely pace throughout the day, so some exercise will be done and I could also use the hotel gyms if I wanted.
My question basically is, should I stick to my 1420cals a day? I'm finding it difficult to keep under my fats, 47g of fat and 16g of sat fat. I will be eating out some nights. Having the 800(ish)cal burger at the Hard Rock in both cities, steakhouse with wedges and green pepper sauce, the odd McDonald's Happy Meal and a restaurant/cocktail bar, so I'm thinking calorie counting is going to be difficult as it is.
Should I set my target to maintenance for the duration? I'm going for 4 days, and then 6 days with a month apart in between (so I could just be REALLY good in that month?). How much damage could 10 days away do as long as I'm not stupid?
What would you guys suggest? What do you do when you go on holiday?
Thanks!

I wouldn't worry too much about calorie counting while on holiday - that would make it too stressful and I'm sure you want to enjoy your time away.
Bringing food you know is good for you helps, also when you get there maybe see if there's a market nearby that you can go to if you run low or forget anything.
When you dine out look for the healthy options on the menu and skip dessert - if you really can't skip dessert, at least share it with someone.
Also at McDonald's did you know if you asked for just a chicken breast and not the sandwich - they'll give it to you? I don't care for McDonald's personally (their food is full of preservatives) but where ever you find yourself dining at, look at the healthy choices on the menu. And sometimes the salad isn't the healthy choice. (depending on what is in the salad).0
