Hi there! Good luck! You can do it. @chassp8pooh is married to a trucker and goes out on the road with him frequently, she might be able to help you out :)

Thanks, tap waters, my wife and I team drive, she is well on her way to her goals, my struggles are mostly self inflicted laziness, but that changes today, I'm ready to be that guy she once knew!

HIYA! I'm on the road pretty much every day all the time and cook almost all of our meals with a generator for power,12v cooler for a fridge,a microwave, skillet and toaster oven... I have lost 68.2 pounds in three months by doing that, counting calories, and running almost every day. Every pound on the road...it can be done. I'm @friskyleo on instagram and Chastity Grace Kelly on facebook. I post my routes in truck stops etc on instagram . Good job wanting to take control of your health..it's harder out here than anyone realizes...but I admit I do take advantage of the TA fitness room when I can.

    Hey Bill,

My dad was a truck driver and I can say it's awesome you're looking to take care of your health because I've seen first hand the negative side effects of driving on the road.

Definitely take advantage of getting a kitchen set up if you have the space so you can avoid truck stop food, and try to switch it up so you're not sitting for hours without even a small break. Maybe get some weights and try and do brief exercise during the day. The more muscle you have, the more fat you will burn!

    Best of luck!

Bill I suggest you get a fitbit or another type of activity device. I'm 53 and walk 30 minutes at least 5 times a week. I also do yoga in the truck and use a resistance band that acts like a rowing machine. You can walk at truck stops. The main thing is not be embarrassed. I would worry about what the other drivers thought about me. Then I realized I'm not walking for their health. But walking for MY health. I wish you luck. You can do this!!
