what happened to tom cruise's chest?

Specifically, what challenges do we face when try to maintain muscle mass into our 50s and beyond.

Re tom cruise, compare his torso in mission impossible 1 and in mission impossible 4, something doesn't look right at all with his pecs in the latter, and can't believe he wouldn't be doing everything in his power to keep his physique.

Slower progress, slower recovery, four decades of accumulating injuries, skin loses its elasticity, chest hair turning grey. Last one is horrible - looking like a Teddy Bear with the stuffing coming out.... :(

LOL!! Is that worse than Pirate's Disease? (Having a sunken chest.)

I'm not sure what's so bad about what we're looking at.

That's all I'm seeing... as a woman in her 50's whose chest is heading into her drawers

Based on the way media treats people, I'm starting to wonder if it isn't a moral shortcoming that we should be trying harder to forestall.

Have you ever looked at on-line articles about "OMG look at how badly x is aging".

    Bad plastic surgery/chest implants...

The dude has barely any chest at all, there's no surgery or implants there. He just got 30 years older, that's all. He looks fantastic for his age in fact.

I haven't thought about Tom Cruise since the last trailer I saw to the last Tom Cruise movie that I didn't see... until this thread.

Scientology. He believes he is from another planet, right? Maybe his body is reverting back to those origins?

I'd say the difference is about an additional 8-10%BF and a tan.

...and no tanning oil with different lighting.
