Trials of being on the road

Does anyone else understand the trials and tribulations of being over the road? Hubby is a driver, I'm constantly out with him. I do drop and hooks,pre trips,trailer blow outs..everything except drive this beast. But sometimes things suck. We were at a delivery today that took 8 hours to offload cat litter and it screwed up my run plans. Now the area in the service plaza I wanted to run in tonight is too damn dark. Haven't had dinner yet and I'm grumpy. Was planning on cooking(have a generator on the truck for house power) but didn't think ahead and the genny is out of gas and advance for next load hasn't come in yet. Damn!
