Should I be eating more??

I have recently lost 80 lbs. I am 5'7" and 138 lbs. Right now I am consuming 1500 cal and going to the gym 6 days a week. I have been focusing on weight training (I am hitting a weight plateau but I figured it's because I'm lifting now) . But now I am wondering if I am not feeding my body enough since I am lifting? My husband thinks I am pushing myself too hard and that is why I am not loosing... and thinks I need to up my Calories but I am terrified of gaining weight. What are some opinions???
