Jiminy Crickets, My Life Imploded.

I was clicking along and then BOOM. All this real-life crap happened and I'm holding on for dear life. I tend to get a bad case of the dontcares when everything goes pear-shaped like this but I keep reminding myself that I can't afford that even if the Universe is having a damn good laugh at my expense. AAAAAAAAAAAAAH.
So in closing, I'm working real hard to stay focused on my goals, and also I am high-maintenance and have trouble staying on task when things go wrong, but I'm bulling through.

My life is inherently unstable due to my mental health. I have found having control of at least something (in my case food tracking and exercise) makes sure I don't spiral completely and keep a grip, however tentative, on my life.
I hope things sort themselves out for you soon though!2 -
Just had a life changing event myself. I've found that I can log my food. There is a lot I can't do about everything else but I can do that.3

Sometimes taking stock of the things you can control really helps when there's a lot going on that you can't.0

I hear you. My husband disclosed he had an affair.. My sister had a stroke ... I lost my job... But I can lose weight! Lol! Along with my sanity. Keep on trucking.4

The fact that you haven't given up means you'll prevail. I hope things smooth out for you in the meantime.0

Like the others said: tracking your food is something you have control over so go for it. It does give me tons of confidence.1

Over the recent past I have come to realize that our weight and body composition is completely 100% within our own control. Think about all the other things in life we have zero control over, just about everything else.
This is awesome!!!
