Plus Size Crohnie in the House!

Options
Hello!
I am 43 years old, married, mom of four boys (two of them are autistic), and while I was diagnosed with Crohn's in 2014, my GI figures I have had it longer than that. I have been up and down the scale for most of my life, and I gained a lot of weight after my resectioning surgery in early 2015. Despite weight loss being nearly impossible (at least that is what I have read from other Crohnies that are overweight) I decided two weeks ago to start writing down what I eat. I haven't weighed myself in months because quite frankly I am scared that I will see a number I don't like and quit. I know I don't like the way I'm feeling, and that's the gauge I have been working with rather than a scale. From what I've seen on this site so far, I am not the only Crohnie that wants to lose.
