How to crawl out of the hole?

So, here I sit. Pledging to lose the weight for the millionth time... Desperate for strength and stamina to get through one day at a time.
I just had my 49 th birthday. I am THANKFUL. I am BLESSED.
I am OBESE.
I have talked to God daily about me funky moods and my inability to get and stay motivated. He still loves me, this I know. But, in this instant gratification mindset I'm bombarded daily with.. TV, FB, ads, I am STRUGGLING to begin. Again.
My blessings are MANY. A WONDERFUL, LOVING, GENEROUS husband, wonderful children, and a cat that thinks "couch potato" lifestyle is just groovy. And yet, depression, self loathing, insomnia, fatigue, impatience are all the gifts that I am able to give back. NOT FAIR. And certainly not deserved by my family or my cat.
Tonight, I found my shovel. I threw my first pile of dirt out of the hole... I walked, I ate healthy today.
I LOVE MY FAMILY
I LOVE GOD
THANKS, goodnight

All you can do is your best one day at a time. If you slip up, there's always another day to dig some more. You CAN do this!

Good for you. That's a good mindset. By the way, you don't look obese at all.

One day at a time, down to one meal at a time, your stronger then you give yourself credit for, put your mind to it, and dont let anything get in your way.
