Challenges: Have been having challenges being motivated to go out to paddle (my best workout) despite the weather being great all week. Had to buckle down and figured out that my stall was self induced - my CI=CO instead of CI<CO. Worked hard for the past week to ensure that my CI<CO. Also increased my water intake which I think helped to flush my system.
Successes: Broke through my stall!! Biggest loss in a week since I started MFP. Over 50% of the way to my ultimate goal of 120 lbs.0 -
Successes/struggles this week: Can't seem to keep the momentum going lately. I do great during the week then the weekend hits! Promised myself that I'm going to stay the course this weekend.
I know what you mean...I have my biggest challenges on the weekends too. Between social engagements and racing events, it is near impossible for me to completely behave on weekends. So, I just planned for it, and don't beat myself up over it.
I do my record weigh ins on Friday so I'm not discouraged on Monday (when it seems most people like to do weigh ins). I do weigh daily, so I see the damage done on Monday, but it just gives me a guide for the rest of the week. I try to build a deficit during the week to take care of the weekends, and if I don't, I just work hard the next week to make up for the weekend. I try to keep it under control, but I do plan that on Sat and Sun I'll have calorie overages (but strive to keep them at maintenance levels). I try to get all my exercise in for the week done by Friday (I know I need 1400 calories burned to stick to my daily calorie goals), so any workouts on the weekend are bonus. I don't want to deny myself of my weekend fun, but I also wanted to figure out a way to make it work while losing. For the most part, it's been working for me (though maybe I'm losing a bit slower than if I behaved on the weekend), so maybe something similar might help for you.

Challenges: Spiked nearly 3 lbs on Monday after a weekend of eating out. Able to get to within .2 lbs of last week. Didn't get as much sleep last night as I'd have liked for the night before a record weigh in, had to weigh in early due to a morning commitment, and could feel the water retention/bloat as I was weighing in.
Successes: Losses in inches this week despite a slight gain on the scale - down to the next size in pants (6 or 4) depending on the brand, either way, should be fitting into smalls now.

Successes/struggles this week: weekends have been a struggle, but I stayed on plan last weekend. We have family in from out of town this weekend for my son's 2nd birthday. It will definitely be hard to resist the temptations, but I am up for the challenge!2 -

Challenges: TOM bloat early in the week. Have had a hard time getting out to paddle this week. No inches lost (need to add more resistance training/weight lifting to body shape).
Successes: One of my best weight loss months so far. Woohoo!! Happily shocked to see 131's on the scale this morning, I figured I'd be doing good to see 132's.
